The £2.8m project, for IQ Student Accommodation, involved the refurbishment and conversion of a 10,600 sqft Category A-listed townhouse designed in 1820 by WH Playfair as part of Edinburgh’s Eastern New Town. The building, which extends over six floors, underwent structural alterations to internally link 11 Hillside Crescent with the neighbouring Elliot House, an existing purpose-built accommodation block.
