Sharkey were appointed to transform redundant laboratory space into Scotland’s first centre for food development & innovation, supporting Scotland’s position as a leader in food and drink production in Europe. Due to the centre’s national importance and the significant level of interest from the food industry business, the University was eager to appoint a proficient local contractor with extensive working experience in live building and scientific environments to deliver this unique project.
