Sharkey have gone onwards and upwards at the Home of Golf in a multi-phase project to extend and adapt the Old Course Hotel in readiness for the 150th Open Championship taking place on the historic links alongside the hotel. Works seamlessly added a further floor to the west wing, providing an additional 13 guest bedrooms and the project, carried out with the hotel continuing to operate as normal, also involved the upgrade of 42 bedrooms and the modification of the iconic ‘Green Sheds’ to create an enlarged and upgraded ‘Hall of Champions’.
