Presented with a range of challenges in what is the oldest and most exclusive members’ club in the City of London, Sharkey successfully delivered sensitive major alterations to the Club’s Grade II* listed building. The vertical expansion project entailed Sharkey adding a further floor and constructing a new roof structure in one of the Square Mile’s most logistically challenging locations, immediately alongside the 600 ft Tower 42. The project also involved the conversion of existing accommodation to create 20 individually bespoke bedroom suites along with an elegant bar and roof terrace for club members and guests.
