Roxburghe return for Sharkey

Hard on the heels of us completing successfully the project to transform the existing SCHLOSS Roxburghe Hotel, in January 2020 we commenced Phase 2 of the £21m development.

We are delighted that the hotel’s owners, 12.18. Investment Management GmbH, have entrusted us to continue our excellent working relationship with them and their design team to deliver an exciting and challenging project at the historic 5-star venue in the Scottish Borders.

Substructure works are already underway on the construction of a 3-storey modern addition to the stunning B-listed property. The steel-framed, stone-clad extension will provide a further 58 bedrooms, high-tech conference and event facilities and a new restaurant and bar. The £17m project also includes a luxury spa and wellness centre, featuring an external swimming pool with new terraces, remodelled landscaping and enhanced car parking provision.
